ImageI can't get onto the Redbridge-i website! It looks as though it's down!
Anyone else had that experience?

Today I received an email from Councillor Prince and the Redi Manager apologising. Strange how this only happend after my referring the matter to the local Wanstead and Woodford Guardian, who are looking into this and other comments and frustrations.

The Redi manager has also posted a forum topic now! apologising.

Aparently it was due to equipment failure.
Guess what? the forum is not open for discussion! And I can't understand why on earth not!

The forum topic is here ;)

Guardian story intoday's on line paper

This has appeared in the Guardian on-line series this evening, following my complaint about the 48 hour shut down and poor forum design last weekend

Please pass on and spread the word.

I was so angry with the press release in the guardian on line on 4th January that I decided to complain to the Guardian that night.

A small but not insignificant victory!

It's a good job the website didn't go down for the past two days isn't it - severe snow and ice have caused many roblems around the borough? All schools have come to a halt, many people are relying on the redbridge-i website for vital information and communication channels! It's only pure chance that the website went down on the 2nd and 3rd January and not 6th and 7th isn't it?

I may be seen as a bit harsh on this website crash but I think I've done them a favour by help them to realise that they need better back up and reserve standby solution for website failure.
